Terms of Service

Effective date: November 2, 2026

These terms apply when you use PipRank, the backgammon game on the web and on Android. By playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use PipRank.

Your account

• You can play against the computer without an account. Online play requires signing in through Firebase Authentication with an email address and password or with Google.
• Give accurate sign-in details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Choose a display name that is not offensive, misleading or impersonating someone else. We may change or remove a name that breaks these terms.

Fair play

• Do not use bots, analysis software, outside help or another person to choose your moves in rated games.
• Do not deliberately lose, trade wins, use multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, or exploit bugs. Please report bugs instead.
• We may adjust ratings, void results or restrict accounts when we find cheating or manipulation.

Respect at the table

Be civil in table chat and in your profile. Harassment, hate, threats, spam and sharing other people's personal information are not allowed. You can mute, block or report a player from the table; we review reports and may restrict or close accounts that break these rules.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you write, such as chat messages and your display name. You give us permission to store and show it as needed to run the game, for example showing your name to opponents and keeping the chat of reported games.

Our game

The PipRank game, its artwork, sounds, bots, lessons and software belong to the operator and its licensors. You may use them to play for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the game, or interfere with the service, its servers or other players' games.

Availability and changes

We work to keep PipRank running well, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Online games depend on network connections, and a lost connection or an expired clock may decide a game.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, ratings or game history, arising from your use of PipRank. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Ending your use

You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we handle and why.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the effective date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
